駅や通りでスマホを片手に考え込んでいる外国人の方々を見かけて何か手助けを してあげたいけれどどういう風に声を掛けたらよいのだろうか？と迷われた経験のある方がいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか？2020年の東京オリンピックを控えこういう場面に遭遇する回数も今後増えることと思います。このクラスでは観光英語の基礎を学びながら海外旅行の会話や日本に来たツーリストのおもてなし の仕方を楽しく学びます。簡単な英語でよいのです。習った表現をすぐに忘れてもよいのです。教室でも「あれ、あれ、あの単語はなんだっけ？」という場面がよくあります。何度もリスニングとスピーキングの練習を繰り返していくと知らず知らずのうちに英会話力は身についていきます。どうぞ一度教室の見学にい らっしゃいませんか？

講師紹介：Stephen

British teacher with an honours degree at Stirling University in Scotland, and a Master’s Degree from Leicester University, England. 　 Interests & Hobbies : History,reading,hiking

The conversation classes introduce level specific vocabulary which we can learn from textbooks, and we encourage you to introduce your own ideas and topics through the discussion of yours and other students real life experiences too. We are lucky that all classes enjoy a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and we often split into small groups for activities and games. These classes have plenty of time and space for individual questions and student driven topics.
The basic class is for students who are not yet at a level where they are comfortable to attempt conversation, but who aim to improve and to have fun learning English. For true beginners only, please note that “False” beginners are NOT welcome in this class! In this class we learn vocabulary and sentence structures for useful English topics from a basic textbook, then use that vocabulary in related activities and games. Again, we are lucky that this is a genuinely warm and welcoming class, and we can usually manage to enjoy ourselves and hopefully learn and gain confidence at the same time.

Interests & Hobbies : Ceramics, cooking, politics.

Ｐrimarily free conversation, with an emphasis on current topics presented by both the students and teacher. Class is usually half free conversation and half text book.
